Events and Results
Members of the West Coast Swimming Club regularly take part in a large number of local, state and national; pool and open water swimming events. Competition often begins through a swimmers involvement in our monthly point score events or training and selection in our SAPSASA or SASSSA squads. New parents are welcome to approach existing club members and familiarise themselves with other opportunities to engage in competitive swimming events. A major focus for the club is our annual participation in the Country Championships which signify swimmers becoming proficient enough to generate the required qualifying times.
Live results are often available when attending Swimming SA Meets. These can be accessed via an app named Meet Mobile. This is a free app which can be downloaded onto a Smartphone from the Apple ITunes store. Events which are managed using Meet Manager software ensure that swimmers times are fedback and made available instantly.
