HEAD COACHES - SONIA FORD AND MATT HAMNETT
Sonia and Matt work in partnership with our team of parent volunteers and senior swimmers to provide a competitive squad program suitable for beginner squad members who have graduated from a learn to swim program, right through to swimmers with ambition to become Australian Age Qualifiers. Training is coordinated for swimmers from right across the Lower Eyre Peninsula through facilities available at the Port Lincoln and Cummins Pools.
All of our coaches have the opportunity to undertake Bronze Licence Coaches training which is financially supported by the fundraising efforts of the club committee and coaching fees levied on a monthly basis. Parents who express an interest in becoming involved in supporting our coaching programs are required to undertake DSCI Police Clearance and be willing to hold ASCTA membership. They are also encouraged to maintain current first aid and CPR qualifications.
Coaching pathways beyond a Bronze Licence Accreditation are also available through Swimming Australia.
CeDUNA PROGRAMS - Jacki-Lee Fawcett
Rather than establish a stand alone swimming club in Ceduna, a group of like minded families have sought the administrative support of West Coast Swimming Club in Port Lincoln to enable their children to train and compete in endorsed Swimming SA meets. Further information on the training opportunities currently available in Ceduna can be made by contacting Jacki-Lee Fawcett on 0429805288
